There are lots of community groups and organisations giving support to people coping with isolation in the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
All the Small Things have put together a webpage which lists the contact information for the official support services in Stoke on Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the rest of Staffordshire.
Please click here for the information on the All the Small Things website..
The webpage shows where residents and community organisations can contact if they
- need help
- want to offer to help
If you are a community group supporting people dealing with Coronavirus in your community, please share information about what you are doing.
VAST, Support Staffordshire and the Realise Charity are working with Councils and other partners.
They need information about all the community action in Staffordshire.
This is get a coordinated response to make sure no one who needs help gets missed out.
Please check the VAST Covid19 website to find out where to send the information about what you are doing.
The official services need to know
- what you are doing (e.g. taking people supplies, phoning isolated neighbours),
- where (which areas),
- a key contact for your group who has given permission for their details to be shared.
Many thanks for everything you are doing!
If you are helping people in your community to cope with Coronavirus, take time out to reflect and share your experiences and get support from others.
